Megan Luis is a performing artist/model from San Francisco who has used her vivid imagination as a sacred place of refuge since childhood. Her primary expression has been on film and stage where she had the freedom to explore other people’s realities before a live audience. Classically trained in Stanislavsky’s “method”, Megan is of the belief that acting is truly the art of “being”. Strongly influenced by Jungian psychology and transactional analysis, Megan seeks to achieve an authenticity in her characterizations through human psychology.

Megan has been acting professionally in San Francisco for over ten years, working with theatre companies such as A,C.T Studios, Boxcar Theater, Shelton Studios,  6 Plays, Faultline Theater, Circle of Life Theater, Awesome Theater, and Amios West. Her full list of accomplishments can be seen here.

Growing up, Megan was highly influenced by her psychic/medium grandmother. Having been surrounded by tarot readers, reiki healers, astrologers, psychics, empath's and otherwise mystical characters had a tremendous impact on her psyche. As a result, Megan herself became a professional tarot reader, and managed to incorporate this talent into her characterization of "Esmerelda" at the Speakeasy SF.
